Side effects of

Self-inject

Contraceptive

Some women may experience:

  • 🙋🏾‍♀️ Lighter or heavier menstrual flow
  • 🙋🏾‍♀️ Menstrual cycle may stop altogether - this is safe and normal but can be alarming at first!
  • 🙋🏾‍♀️ Weight gain, headaches, acne, decreased sex drive or mood swings
  • 🙋🏾‍♀️ This method does not affect your fertility. There may be some delay in getting pregnant after you stop taking it, giving you more time to prepare!
    (see FAQs for more info)
